Oceana - Toiletries Included?

Hi

We're going on a mini-cruise this weekend as a taster for a lengthier cruise in the future. As we need to travel as light as possible could anyone advise whether there are toiletries in the standard cabins - i.e. shampoos, shower gels, etc.

 

Do you need to take your own towels for use in the Spa/pool areas?

 

And finally I'm thinking of taking a travel iron - do I need to?

This is from (rather bad)memory. You will get shower gel/shampoo in the bathroom, soap too.

Use Oceana's towels for the pool, you get one each in your bathroom (special pool towels).

You don't need the travel iron as there are ironing stations dotted about the ship.

We went on Oceana for Xmas 2007, had inside cabins, we only got shower gel (Molton Brown), Gerry is still correct about the towels and the irons though. There may have been a sample of shampoo to begin with but that was all. Definately had to use my own! You Lovely ship though, have fun!! Flea B x

You are not allowed to have travel irons in cabins any more, but as Gerrym has said - there will be a laundry near you with plenty of irons in it..

You will need shampoo and conditioner.

Having been on Ventura this weekend we experienced the new range of Temple Spa toiletries available in the cabins (I was ina n inside cabin).

 

There was a lovely shower gel/shampoo in the shower cubicles......

Apart from the soaps you get the full size as shown in the product details. You also get a plastic box with, emery boards, needles & threads, shoe shine cloth and a shower cap.

How is Oceana looking after her refit?

 

I am on her in June (E813Y) and cannot wait to see some of my old friends again.
