Past Destiny Cruiser Needs your Help!

Hi all,

My boyfriend and I sailed on Carnival Destiny 3/16 - 3/23. While onboard, my boyfriend bought a watch in one of the stores on the ship. He paid for the watch with a credit card. They fitted him for the watch and told him to come back and pick it up the next evening.

My boyfriend decided to not get the watch and went back to the store the next evening to let them know he no longer wanted the watch and wanted the charges reversed. They took his receipt for pick up, handed him a new receipt, and told him he was all set.

Well, my boyfriend just got his credit card statement and the watch charge is still on there! When he called up Carnival, he found out that the store wasn't associated with Carnival but with an independent company. The company told him he needs his receipt to prove that he returned, but we can't find it!

Any tips on this situation would greatly be appreciated! Thanks in advance.
