NYC Embarkation / Luggage Question - Leaving in the AM

Does anyone know how the luggage situation works once you get to Port? We're taking a Taxi and its only myself and my 2 9 year old daughters 2 Big Duffels 1 Small Duffel, 1 Rolling Backpack, My Purse etc.

 

Is there a porter someone nearby once we get out of the Taxi who can help us schlep all this stuff?

There will be porters right where you get out of the taxi. You put your luggage tags supplied by the cruise line on the bags you want them to tote to your room. They usually arrive at your room later in the afternoon. So if you have any meds etc. you might want to put them in a carryon you bring with you.
