Hapinowagain2 Posted October 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2004 I have been reading that on several of the ships the theatre fills up quickly. Is this true on the Coral Princess? Do we need to get there early?
roohound Posted October 3, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2004 If you want one of the more primo seats, yes. Having said that, up until about 10 minutes before show time there were still plenty of seats. One caveat tho..this was on an Alaska cruising where I think more people ignore the shows in favor of watching the show outside that nature provides :)
irislady Posted October 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2004 We were on the Coral (SB Alaska) last August and the theatre usually did fill up pretty early, especially for the "big shows". If you are traveling with a group you should all get there fairly early. (Saving seats is not permitted, though many people still do so or try to.) kkorman Posted October 3, 2004 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2004 I did not see the problem of a full theatre on the 3 COral cruises this year. I have seen it happen on other ships though. I am sure it will depend on the crowd.
goblue Posted October 3, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 3, 2004 Kkorman is correct. it depends on the crowd. Last year, on Coral/Panama trip, the theater filled up 30 mintues before the show started with a lot of chair hogs. This past June on Corla/Alaska, no problem to have a seat 10-15 min before the show - most folks were still outside enjoyed the scenery :D
