Carnival Tax/Fee Increase starting Monday 4/21 ?

A carnival rep just told me I need to book my Caribbean cruise this weekend because the taxes and fees are going up on monday. Anyone know if this is true?

 

And if so......how much will the increase be?

Fuel supplement is going up $2 pp/pd.

This is true so anyone that is going to book a cruise soon, should do it before Monday.

Very true. The fuel charge is going up to $7 for 1st and 2nd passengers and they are also implimenting a $2 charge for 3rd/4th/5th passengers also (prior to this only 1st/2nd passengers were charged). We had been debating for the past few weeks about booking another cruise for next year but couldn't make up our minds, this got me moving a lot faster and we booked the Glory just this past week. It would not have stopped us from cruising, but I figure better the money in our pocket than Carnivals. Eh, who am I kidding...it will eventually end up in their pocket anyway!:rolleyes:
