This Christmas will be my families third cruise but our first with HAL. We'll be on the Statendam and I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little more about the ship than the HAL website does, maybe some unadvertised things not to miss or "secret doors" or just plain interesting facts. I love researching these type things to show/talk to my family about before or during the cruise.

 

Also, we are in cabin 106, cat. "C" on the Veranda deck. Anyone here had that cabin before? How did you like it? I'm sure we'll have a tonof fun, just being curious.
