Oceana Refit

Hi

If you have been on Oceana since her recent refit, please can you comment on the changes that have been made?

Do the cabins have flat screen LCD?

 

All carpets replaced?

A lot of carpets have been replaced as they were piling badly when we got of on Saturday, they hadn't been vac'd all week, balls of fluff everywhere

No flat screen TV, but new bedding.

AS this was out first trip on Oceana not sure what else was done, I think they have altered Winners and the casino as they are one place now with a small stage/platform for singers

Its mainly Carpets that have been refitted. She now has the P&O Cruises logo on her sides. Bathrooms have new shower curtains and heads. New bedding etc. It was her first proper refit and dry docking since 2002. Thats 5 years!!

She did have a dry docking at A&P in Southampton in May 2005, but I don't know how major that was...Aurora is the one to worry about because she was last dry docked in April 2005 and doesn't appear to be scheduled for one into 2010!

The Aurora was actually in dry dock when I went to the Queen Vic naming ceremony in Dec 2007, and we were advised by our guide that she was in for a bit of a face lift. I assume that meant that the interior was being upgraded and redecorated.
