Atomica Posted April 20, 2008 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2008 Very nice pictures! I particularily liked the use of 'then-and-now' photos. Well done!

Beyondships Posted April 25, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted April 25, 2008 Great photos many thanks for posting them - I am back onboard in 2 months & cannot wait! Were you on the crossing or just a visit whilst in New York? Kind Regards, RJMS74 Thanks. This was a visit. Even with all the voyages I have done on QE2, I found there were quite a few places I had not photographed or had not photographed digitally. Accordingly, I went on to make a comprehensive photo tour. I plan to return for a couple of voyages this summer.
cruisegal101 Posted April 25, 2008 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2008 Thanks so much. I've just showed your site to my traveling companion for my August voyage. She has not been on the ship and your site has given her cause for great anticipation! :) Bettie
rjms74 Posted April 25, 2008 #7 Share Posted April 25, 2008 beyondships, I though nowadays you could only go onboard QE2 for a visit if you are invited to a party or function by Cunard or are memebers of the Press or a travel agent. I appreciate of course you may be either of these. Am just curious - I know for certain that Cuanrd no longer allows passengers onboard to invite friends or familly to join them onboard before the ship sails re increased security measures. Naiad Posted April 25, 2008 #8 Share Posted April 25, 2008 Thank you. I saw the ship a few years ago going past Cowes and have always been curious about what it looked like inside.
