question on service

I am booked on QM 2 in June for a crossing and am worried about the service and food , sounds like carnival has done there handy work and made this a sub service ship ( Any Commnets)

It all depends on what you are used to and what you are looking for. If you have a butler and other staff at home then any thing short of grill cabin status will most likely not be of your liking. If on the other hand you have no problem with the service in most U.S. restaurants then the service on board will be fantastic. I just spent 90 days on the QE2 and found the service to be very good. with rare exception I never had to wiat for a beverage order to be taken, had all my cabin needs met within a very short period of time and found all of the wait staff at dinner to be very accomodating. Breakfast depended on when one arrived. Coming in ten minutes defore closing might get you a bit of an attitude but for the most part I never had a problem that required going any higher up than the individual involved. My expectations were that of a four star resort and I received it plus. I am sure the QM2 will serve you just fine.
