Homer Stage Lines: Anchorage to Seward

Meeting rest of family on June 20 sailing of Veendam and want to beat the rush of folks by arriving around noon to board early, then sightsee. Train and early bus leave by 7, but Homer Stage Line not till 9 according to their website.

Are they reliable? I didn't see any other company that leaves mid-morning. HAL buses (I assume Grayline) start to leave at 11:30 or so, so want to beat the mob.

I'd take the regular passenger train, it's a very scenic, relaxing ride. There's not the "mob" you may think there is. Alot of the time boarding doesn't begin till around 2pm anyways.

You can drop off luggage, have some fun in Seward and then go back later. The buses arrive all afternoon, not all at once.
