Picking up passengers at San Pedro

My sister will be picking us from San Pedro in October. Does anyone know if she will have to park in parking lot and we meet her there or is there a place closer to the pier where she can meet us? We're docking at berth 92.

Thanks.

She can pull up right to your berth, but not sure about how that works. I'm guessing that since she has to drive past the guard booth, that's when she would get whatever pass she needs. Hopefully, someone who has gone to the WCC to pick up someone will post here about how it actually works.

Your sister will have no trouble getting past the guard at the entrance. She just says she is picking someone up and they let you right through. If she arrives before you get off the ship she will either need to park and pay...............or continue to circle until she sees you. Best if you are waiting on her rather than her waiting on you, so be sure to give her a time a little later than you think you will disembark. The security guys at the pick up area have to be pretty strict. There will be many taxi's and shuttle vans in that area as well as private cars. Patience is the key especially if there are multiple ship in port that day.

We always have someone pick us up there, but they wait over in a shopping area parking lot off Gaffey until we call them on our cell phone that we have cleared Customs and have our luggage. She swings around the drive that circles the parking lot, sees us on the curb, picks us up, and we are on our way home. Very easy.
