hisfirstm8 Posted April 24, 2008 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2008 We will be in Quebec city for 2 days on our cruise in October. Can you suggest some places to see or things to go that we wouldn't want to miss. Thanks I have never been up north before, always the Caribbean. Ephraim Posted April 24, 2008 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2008 Quebec City or Quebec the province? Quebec City.... Old Quebec, Lower Town & Upper Town The funicular and the Stairs (Casse Cou, the neck breaker) The museum of Civilization Shopping in Old Quebec on the streets Plains of Abraham Place Royale National Assembly The Citadel Chateau Frontenac (High tea) Notre Dame du Quebec Montmorency Falls Cartier-Brebeuf National Historic Site Coffee in the cafes, dinner in a beautiful restaurant and dancing in the clubs Unfortunately the Armoury was beautiful, but it burnt down this year. Quebec the province... you can't do in two days. In fact, you can't really do it in two weeks. Gaspe Peninsula and Percé rock Rimouski and the St-Lawrence estuary Baie St-Catherine/Tadoussac and the Whales Montreal The Eastern Townships (Estrie) and it's natural beauty and beautiful B&Bs The Laurentian Mountains, St-Saveur and Mont Tremblant I can keep on going, from artist towns to the big city.
