Has anyone ever had a tour of the ship's bridge?

I think they stopped that and the kitchen tour after 9/11.

It happens but it's exceptionally rare...

How does one get the rare visit? And how rare are those visits?

Just off miracle three weeks ago - no bridge tour offered, but there was a galley tour offered, and it was very interesting.

It pretty much requires an invitation from the Captain. Bridge visits are VERY rare, nearly non-existant.

People have written letters to the Captain to request a visit. There are several post re: bridge tours. I will do a quick search and post a few of them.

Bridge visits are VERY rare, nearly non-existant.

 

We must be special, then - we've had a bridge tour on every ship we've been on! There are ways... ;)
