tracie Posted October 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2004 I am just wondering if there is a certain time of year that PV has problems with jellyfish. We are going to be leaving on the Pride this Sunday, and we want to do Las Caletas in PV. I have heard that they have to close the beach sometimes due to jellyfish. I hope this does not happen to us. Anyone have any idea? Also, does anyone know the prices for the excursion through Carnival? Do they give you a price break for kids? Thanks, Tracie
bearette Posted October 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2004 I don't know about PV, but when we went to Lover's beach in Cabo my sister and several others were stung. If there are jellyfish in there believe me you do not want to go in the water!
bzy1 Posted October 8, 2004 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2004 They have no season, no certain time of year or special location they are found. When there is red tide, they are many more as that is what they eat...but I was just down near there a few days ago and didn't see any when I was out snorkeling. Have fun! Caletas is gorgeous!
