NavyChief Posted October 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2004 I have an 8C room, on the even side, set to sail on the Conquest 6 Feb. I looked at some pictures of the ship in the ports and thought the even side would give better views in port. My mother is sailing with my husband and I, and I am sure she will spend alot of time on the balcony in ports. Any advice will help......thanks. tjevans Posted October 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2004 I'm sure it may vary each time the ship pulls in to port, but in Jamaica and Cozumel (the only two ports you'll actually dock) our even-numbered room faced the shore. Really, In Coz, I think the pier runs roughly perpendicular to the shore (and in Jamaica, you literally pull up to the seawall), so you can see the land from either side. Neither one is really that great of a view. Since there are at least two other ships in Cozumel with the Conquest, you may just wind up with a view of another ship.
