RDMOREU Posted October 4, 2004 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2004 Is it possible to order a selection of hot or cold appetizers to be delivered to an SS cabin? If so, is there an additional charge and does anyone know what the selections might consist of? Thanks for any help/advice!
gizmo Posted October 4, 2004 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2004 Sorry but unless something has changed, hot and cold appetizers can be ordered for S and PS cabins only and they are complimentary. I honestly don't think you can order them since they are not menu items. S cabins don't get to choose what they want except hot, cold or both. What ever they are doing that day, you get. You can order anything from the room service menu. There is a shrimp cocktal but they are very, very tiny and not what most people would expect. All the cocktail lounges have hot hors d'oeuvres prior to dinner.

It's true that only PH & S get complimentary hors d'ouvres in the cabin, but on the theory that anything you can pre-order from Ship's Services you can also order once on board, item #906 of the "gift" order form is the item: Hors d’oeuvre Plate – 12 asst. appetizers for $15. -dave

dakrewser Posted October 5, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 5, 2004 Thank you Dakrewser, it has been a long time since I looked at the gift order form. Considering the prices on it, I also try to avoid it! :) -dave
bepsf Posted October 5, 2004 #6 Share Posted October 5, 2004 Yup - 'bout the best you can do in the way of hors d'oervres in an SS is a cheese plate, unless you order ahead from ship services.
