Padua, Italy

Recommended Posts

Our ship departs from Venice in early July and we would like to go to Padua (Padova) on the morning prior to our departure. The ship leaves at 3:oopm and we want to have enough time to visit Padua. Has anyone been there? I understand you can get there by train but wondering if there is a water taxi you can take. Could you please let me know what train you take and how much time we should allow so we don't miss the ship.

Thanks

On our first day in Venice, as soon as the ship docked we walked over to the train station and took the train. When we arrived in Padua we took a taxi to the basilica and returned to Venice the basilica to St. Anthony is really all we wanted to see.
