Need Nyc Help

We are sailing on the Dawn May 4th out of NY. The NYC Boro Bike Tour will be that day - 42 mi. of streets closed - 30,000 bikes :eek: .

 

We are driving in from Western MA and parking at the peir. Any New Yorkers out there with any hints to make our lives easier :confused:

 

We are thinking the only thing that can be done is leave very early to get to NY around 7 am (?) and pack lots of patients.

The good news it goes nowhere near the piers. You should be fine coming down 9a to 12th ave and into the pier. A little slow with cars avoiding midtown and the eastside.

No take the west side highway it ends with an easy access into the pier area.

Thank you both soooo much. This was the way we were going to the pier in the first place, but the bike tour got me nervious.
