P&O secrets or Advice on Artemis

We are going on Artemis in July, do you know any P&O secrets (or advice) which you as seasoned travellers know, which us as P&O newbies do no know yet?

 

Or does anyone have advice on Artemis herself?

We sailed on her 4 times while she was Royal Princess, and she remains one of our favorite ships.

 

Nice sized, and a good rider in heavy seas.

:) :) :) 2 cruises on her so far-3rd leaves Southampton on 30th October and already booked for 09.

Small-but only by todays standards.Good in rough seas-a deep draft.

A very friendly cosy atmosphere.

Lots of deck space and inside there are windows everywhere so you know you are on a ship and not just a floating hotel.

We found the dining excellent and the buffet airy & civilised.

A cinema as well as show and dancing lounges--we also liked the Casino-very friendly,fun and,for us,lucky.

I am on Artemis for the first time next week for a weekender to try her out and then in March I am flying off to Jamaica to meet her for the repositioning cruise back to the UK.

SECRET - unlike other cruise lines, you can take a bottle or 2 in your hand luggage for drinking in your cabin. Very nice especially if you have a balcony or mini/suite
