Cozumel ruins...

How long does it take to get to the ruins (San Gervesio ?) from the port? Will it be unbearable (heat wise) if we go in June?

We went a couple of weeks ago. We got a taxi at the pier for $60.00. That was to take us to the ruins than to Paradise Beach. It took about 30-40 minutes to get there. Cost was $6.00 pp. Nice drive, our driver talked about the island. It was early and there was only one other couple at that time. I wish we had gone a little later and paid for a guide. We given a map or anything. The path is marked. Our taxi driver said you could see it in about 40 minutes. We did not spend a lot of time at each one, but did see all of it, it took us 1 1/2 hours. They do have signs at each one to give you background on it. It is a lot of walking. It was hot. I am glad we did it, it was worth the visit. Got t-shirts and blankets at the gift shop on the way out. Hope this helps.
