ali07 Posted May 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 4, 2008 The family (about 10 to 12 of us) are celebrating my parents' 50th anniversary on the Pride of America on 2010...what is the best restaurant for a special family dinner? Thanks for any insights.... Ali
TXRED10 Posted May 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 4, 2008 I would say the best atmosphere and food for a celebration and accomodating all of you would to make reservations at the Bistro or Cagney's Steakhouse. We thought they had great food and a great atomosphere! I think you will get better service too. We enjoyed all the restaurants but these two are great! Enjoy! CruisinMK Posted May 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2008 Hm! I'd do a bistro for a quiet group of 2-6, but for a bigger louder group I'd do cagney instead
hawaiilvr Posted May 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2008 On the Pride of America it is actually the Lazy J Texas Steakhouse, not Cagney's. I thought it was very good. The tables are packed in pretty tight, but for a large group, it should be fine. Jefferson's Bistro seemed a little more intimate. The Skyline Main Dining Room is also very nice, and you could request tables near the windows which are aft on the ship. The tables are very large, and may be more accommodating to a large group. You can make reservations for groups of more than 6.
