bbqbrad Posted May 5, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Hello, I'm looking to book our 6th Princess Cruise but have one question that you guys may be able to answer. We've been looking at the Tahiti/Hawaii trips and a deal breaker is the Traditional Dining only. We're not anti-social by any means, we just want to dine alone without tablemates during dinner. We really love Princess, if you book early enough, can they guarantee a table for two? Brad
Spikesgirl Posted May 5, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2008 I don't understand your question really, but yes, you can get a two-top in the dining room. They, however, will probably be in the center of the room, not by a window. Just make sure that you have your TA (or whomever) put down that you want to have a table for two and confirm that with the Maitre D' when you get on board the ship. shellbeachjim Posted May 5, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 5, 2008 If you are asking about the Tahitian/Pacific/Royal Princess, then yes, there are a few tables for two. There are a couple of tables just as you enter the dining room in the left hand corner. Also, if the ship isn't full they may turn their tables for four into tables for two. The earlier you make a request the better chance you have for getting what you want. Also, always check with the Maitre 'd upon boarding - either to confirm that you got a table for two or to see if he can accommodate you after the first day or so. MichTraveler Posted May 6, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2008 DH and I are similar. We spend the day with the masses and prefer to dine as a couple. We were assigned to a large table and on the first evening we asked for a table for "2 only". Seems several others did too, and on night 2 we had our own table which had been reconfigured just for us.
