cruisefamily1 Posted May 6, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2008 I plan to apply sunscreen before the kids go to camp in the morning. Do I need to go back to reapply every so often or will the staff do it?
Rare karatemom2 Posted May 6, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2008 What line are you on? On Princess when you register your children for the club on the first day on the form you complete there is a question that asks if you will allow the staff to apply sunscreen to your child. If you check yes, the staff will apply sunscreen for outdoor activities.
I&MsMom Posted May 6, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Also, how old is your child? At least on Carnival, if they are in the 2 - 5 age group, they stay inside the Camp proper.
abba_dabba_doo Posted May 6, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2008 Butting in here.........how about the camps on RCCL? I'll have one in the 3-5 group and one in the 6-8 group. Do they stay inside, or do they bring the kids out? Will they apply sunscreen?
MellowMel Posted May 6, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 6, 2008 With my experience with RCCL, my kids stayed inside Adventure Ocean so sunscreen wasn't necessary. Of course that was on sea days. I don't know if they take them to the pool on port days. I also don't have any experience with Adventure Ocean at Coco Cay or Labadee. My kids have cruised at ages 3 and 5. rstout Posted May 6, 2008 #6 Share Posted May 6, 2008 With Adventure Ocean, the kids are only outside in the sun on Labadee. You will need to apply the sunscreen if they spend time in AO on Labadee.
cruisefamily1 Posted May 6, 2008 Author #7 Share Posted May 6, 2008 We are on Carnival Liberty. My kids are 6, 9 and 12. I know my oldest should be able to do it himself but I'm not sure I trust him to remember.
