luggage tags

Who do you mean by "they"? If you wait until you get to the embarkation pier, it will be up to you to make sure that your cabin number is put on the blank tags which the porters will have. At the point where you actually turn over your luggage to tghe porters, you are the only one who knows what cabin number you want them to get to.

Never had a problem..Attendants/porters ask your cabin number and write it on the luggage tags. Several times, we have written it on ourselves and attached it to the suitcases. Always done it that way. Never used the "paper tags".

heres another question..on my luggage tags it says deck 8 cabin 8292 and port forward. What does this all mean? good? bad?

DECK 8= Deck where cabin located(deck will have a name also)

8292= number of cabin on deck 8

PORT= left side of ship when facing the front of ship

Forward= in this case the front half of ship

Info makes it easy for baggage handlers to route your bags to proper area of ship to ease delivery to you cabin. Hope this helps. Bill
