Best cruise for amateur scuba

My wife and I are looking for a good cruise to go on this Winter.

 

We got our PADI cert, but that was about a year ago, so we're quite rusty on the skills, and we don't have our own equipment.

 

We don't really care for land tours, per se, but we love scuba and warm weather. :)

 

Any suggestions and/or pointers on good deals would be appreciated.

A Western Caribbean with stops in Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Belize and Rotan would be great for you. In the cruise I just did, if you booked your dive through the cruise line, the price included equipment rental and a two tank dive averaged about $100 per person at each port.

Good short cruises that include Nassau are also good. If you REALLY want to get to the good stuff try a Southern itinerary that includes Curacao, Bonaire, St. Lucia, Grand Turk. Departures from San Juan are priced a bit lower than Miami and airfare to PR has come way down. http://www.cruisedivers.blogspot.com

Do a refresher course before you go, and you will enjoy your dives much more.
