search down again! Glory room over casino

Are these rooms noisey or smokey? I can get an upgrade but I need to know this first. Thanks for any help.

We were in cabin 6359, which is a balcony cabin, on the Glory. It was over the Casino bar. At night we sometimes heard music, but it wasn't enough to keep us awake. There was never any smoke in our room.

I had room 6299 and 6301 on Freedom a month ago and I could hear everything in the casino below into the wee hours. It was even easy to make out some conversations at times when the casino was busy and loud.

I would expect the casino's ventilation system to be separate from the cabin deck above, just as I would expect all decks and fire zones to be separate from each other. Also, since that's an enclosed deck, there would be no way for the smoke to drift up to you if you happen to have a balcony.

Now noise would another matter. I would definitely move for that reason if you're a light sleeper. The ding-ding-ding of the slot machines would keep me up for sure.
