Who's the Captain currently on the NCL Spirit?

Folks, sailing on the Spirit on Saturday and wondering who the Captain is.

gunnar hammerlin or hannilin (sp? im not sure of his last name)

i was just on spirit 4/27.

captain is swedish, sounds like arnold swartzenager (sp again lol).

hes a really cool guy too, he spoke the night of the last show and even took a pic with my baby son.

 

be sure to say hi to jackie collett, concierge- she is AWESOME. tell her jen & dave and their baby christopher miss her!

Is Capt. Hammerin still aboard the SPIRIT. We liked him a lot and were concerned about his standing after the SPIRIT ran into the pier when we returned back to New York City on May 26, 2008.

 

We loved the ship, staff & crew so much we've rebooked for 2009!

I was on the Spirit from 8.23-8.31 and the captain was Evans Hoyt, I think that's his first name, but he was from the USA.

Captain Evans Hoyt is the Captain of the Spirit. He is very personable. He originally is from Long Island New York.

I certainly hope that situation didn't affect his position. Granted it wasn't a good situation, but I thought I had heard the currents were particularly strong that morning.
