bethbeth428 Posted May 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Ok who has taken a cruise out of NJ during the winter months? How long before you reach warm weather?
clochette Posted May 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2008 We cruised this past February, the following morning, we were wearing long sleeve shirts, by the afternoon it was fairly warm. Of course my kids were swimming by then, and were perfectly happy. We were very pleasantly surprised that it was warm so quickly.
bethbeth428 Posted May 15, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Great to know. I am thinking of booking the EOS for Nov 21st. The itinerary is the first 2 days at sea and the last 2 days at sea. I want to know specifically what the temperature and weather might be the first day at sea.
lszu Posted May 15, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2008 Considering how weird the weather has been up here (I'm in North Jersey) I don't think any one can say this far out. It could be surprisingly pleasant - maybe in the 50s - or it could be snowing. I've never cruised out of Bayonne so I don't know how long it takes to reach really warm weather. bayonne Posted May 15, 2008 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2008 I've cruised 4 times from Bayonne. The first full day is sweater weather. 2nd full day is warm.
