outowrk Posted May 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2008 The other day I asked about getting from Fort Laderdale to the Port of Miami and got a lot of good advice, thanks. Go Shuttle seemed to be a popular solution. However no one said anything about going back from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale. Anyone?
Charming01 Posted May 16, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2008 We used the Go Shuttle (awesome) and then we rented a car for the way back. We stayed over night in FLL and went to a hockey game, so we weren't in a rush to meet a plane.
quiltsnh Posted May 16, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2008 We used them in NOv. from FLL to South Beach and asked about the trip back to FLL from the port and were told they do not have a lic./registration to pick up at the pier, therefore the return trip is not an option with them. We just used the RCCL transfers.
Conrycol Posted May 16, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 16, 2008 We used GO shuttle last month from FLL to POM. When we got off the GO shuttle another gentleman came up to us and handed us two stickers of smiley faces (:) ), to wear on our shirts when we were disembarking at the conclusion of our cruise. He would then take us back to FLL in a van. The service was $20/person back to FLL. So when you're getting off the GO shuttle, look around for this person, he was holding a clipboard with a big smiley face on the back of it. If you don't find him before the cruise starts, check again when the cruise returns. Much cheaper than the $74 that was quoted to me by a cab driver. Good luck.
