Pan Pacific Heads Up

Can anyone tell me how Vancouver's Westin Bayshore and the Fairmont Waterfront would be listed on Hotwire or Priceline, etc. Are they 4 star and listed as Downtown V. West ?? Are there any specific icons to look for. Have never done this type of bidding but for the price, I would like to give it a try. gg

I can't find Downtown-West on Priceline but can on Hotwire. Yes, they would be Downtown - West. I see hotwire is listing a 5* at $179 which I find intriguing. However lets see if anyone else has experience on Priceline.

For what it's worth, I got the Marriott Pinnacle on Priceline at the last minute (2 days before we left for Vancouver) by bidding on a 4* at $125. The date was for June 8. It cost about $5 in taxi fare to Canada Place. We were very pleased with the service and location. Previously I'd reserved a room at the YWCA hotel and it has a 24-cancellation notice so I was able to cancel it without cost. The "Y" was going to cost us $105.
