Mariner Cabin #8214

Recommended Posts

We have #8514, which is the same type of cabin. I am curious about this too. Also, how is the ship movement in these rooms?

RCI told me that fold-out sofas are available only in Category C or higher cabins, or what RCI referes to as a Junior Suite. We wanted to add a third person to a D1 cabin and they said no dice, we'd have to upgrade to a C1, C2, or C3 cabin to get a couch that folds out.

The Category D cabins do indeed have sofas, but apparently they don't fold out. Hope that helps!

Safe travels,

We had a D1 on the Adventure, and the couch did pull out. It was not a normal pull out couch , but it did sleep 2 people. The bottom of the couch pulled out and then you would fold the back down. So you were laying on the bottom which you normally lay or sit on, and the complete back. It was very uncomfortable.

Now we just book 2 E Cabins.

8214 shows the sofa bed on the deck plans. Don't care if it pulls out or not--teenager would rather sleep on it as a couch--but needs to be full length. Just checking, don't want surprizes and paid $400 more for the cabin than the inside we had booked!
