Freedom of the Seas 6-22 Newie Questions

Recommended Posts

I'm sailing FOS 6/22 on my first cruise ever! I'm getting excited but have some questions that hopefully fall into the "no stupid questions" category.

1) Does the ship leave a nice robe in your cabin to use on the cruise?

2) What is the average cost of cocktails?

3) Is it hard to get tickets to the stage and ice shows?

4) What's the one thing you wish someone had told you before you boarded the ship?

Thanks in advance to those who repsond?

No robes unless in a suite.

Don't remember the average price of coctails, but there's always a daily special that is priced reasonably.

Don't need tickets for shows in the main theater. Tickets for the ice show are easy to get. there are however a limited number of tickets per each show.

Something I wish I had known before my first cruise: To look up on the port boards here at CC to see what is recommended to see or do at each port.

We were on the Freedom last month! A great time!! You will love it.

I wish I would have known to ask for the drink "not in the souvenir" glass.

It adds additional cost for the plastic cup. Unless you want to keep them.

I also wish I would have know how busy boarding the ship would be. We got to the port at 11:30 and it was so busy and then once you get on the ship they point you toward the windjammer. My first thought was WOW is it always going to feel this crowded. It did not...so I wish I would have had a heads about that.

The chair situation on sea days was a litte crazy. We got up by 8:00 and got out chairs. You are able to leave them fo 30 minutes only or they will take your stuff and open up the chairs for others. We utilized ours all day so it was never a problem but very busy.

We also stayed on the boat in Jamaica. What a great day the flowrider was quiet and the pools were peaceful it was a nice way to enjoy the ship.

Sorrentos not only has pizza but yummy anitpasto platters and desserts.

There are also sandwiches down at the cafe in the promenade mall.

Ice tix were easy to obtain the week we went.

Hope you enjoy the ship as much as we did!

Michelle
