I've heard that whale watching season usually runs from December thru March or April, but I was wondering if there's any chance of seeing any whales off the western coast of Maui in mid to late November?

Not usually, but it happens on occasion if the ocean conditiona are just right.

I can't get into the Pacific Whale Foundation logs right now (www.pacificwhale.org) but I think the first whale was sighted off Maui on either 11/13 or 11/17 this season if memory serves me correctly. Cross your fingers and keep your eyes open. You might see a few!! I'll hope so for you.
