Antigua, St. Kitts, St. Thomas

If you had to choose 2 of these ports to dive in, which would they be?

 

DH is getting certified soon hopefully, and I dive, and diving in all three would break the bank, so we are going to try to limit it to 2 ports this trip.

 

And if you have been diving in these ports, any private operators that you would recommend? I have been told about Admiralty in St Thomas.

St Thomas has nice clear water, lots of fish, rays, starfish, turtles, etc. I haven't been to the other ports.

For St. Kitts, we love Kenneth's Dive Center, and are heading back again soon. http://www.kennethsdivecenter.com. Great folks, and their boat is right on the pier where you dock. Tell them Wendy & Keith from Florida sent you.

 

On St. Thomas, we went with Blue Island Divers since we docked at Crown Bay. We thought it was a good operation, but I was not pleased with the water conditions on the first dive. IMHO it was way too rough for safety, particularly with a group of newer divers. Admiralty gets good reviews by cruisers, and Coki Beach comes up quite often for a beach dive.

Did zipline tour in Antiqua so don't know about the diving but loved both dives I did in St Thomas

I'd go for St. Kitts & St. Thomas. We dove in St. Thomas and had a great time, thought I wouldn't necessarily recommend the operator we used. I've heard good things about Admiralty.... The water in Antigua was VERY rough when we were there, and I don't know how the diving is there in general. We did Eli's Xtreme Circumnav instead. I hear St. Kitts is great.
