*Wink* Posted May 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2008 Our TA is charging us $430 for Government Taxes and Fees, whereas NCL would only charge $150 for the same cruise, same category. Is that the cost of having a personal TA to count on? Just curious. Thanks.
Hollyspop Posted May 26, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2008 Your TA can probably explain the differance better than anyone on this board. That's who I'd be asking.:) :)

I just didn't want to offend them by asking w/o some advice.. so that's why I've come here first.:o I've got an email into them, but I was hoping to get some feedback before we spoke. Thanks. AuntieBarb Posted May 26, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2008 Does your TA have the fuel supplement and travel insurance itemized separately? I'm thinking it might be a collective sum of all government taxes and "additional" fees.

NCL charges a bit more for the fuel supplement, but that's probably just because of when we booked and today's cost. NCL's "Travel Protection" is more than the "Travel Insurance" We've bought.
