Two Tank or Night Dive (Bermuda)

Hello all :)

First time posting - first cruise ever this coming week NCL Boston-Bermuda.

I'm the only diver in a group of us going. . . Looking to book a dive and am thinking most likely to go with a shoip excursion (for safety reasons as well as convenience).

Trying to decide between a two-tank day dive (reefs and possibly a wreck) or a Night Dive (single tank). I've never been on a night dive before and love the idea, but am looking for feedback from those who have dived in Bermuda before.

Been diving there several times. The reef is a barrier reef surrounding the island with depth typically in the 30-40ft. range (never gotten a reading below 45ft on a dive there). There's not a lot of species of fish in Bermuda due to fishing but there's a ton of parrotfish (apparently not good eating). There are also a large number of wrecks around the island due to the surrounding reefs. If you've never dived there before, I'd suggest the two-tank day dive just because you'll see a lot of fish and the reefs are pretty nice with a lot of swim throughs etc. In addition, if you haven't dived a night, there are additional protocols, signals, equipment, and navigation things that you should be comfortable with before doing one (especially if you've never dove at that location). I think you'll throughly enjoy diving during the day and that will also leave your night to hang around at the "pickled onion" pub in Hamlton for an evening of frolicking with the locals. :)
