cjhbeh Posted May 28, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2008 Hi everyone: Unusual question I know but I have a 15 yr old swimmer in the family that wants to keep up his swim training for the cruise and needs to know the length of the sports pool (reserved for lap swimming from 6-9am in the morning). I am guessing it can't be much more than 20 yards but I was wondering if anyone knew or if anyone had ideas on how I could find out. We are getting a workout from the coach... THANKS! crusinmama06 Posted May 28, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2008 Don't know length but I can show it to you. Maybe someone can get you some numbers...
cot427 Posted May 28, 2008 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2008 Seeing it, and showing it to him will probably be better anyway so he can get an idea of what it is in person.
cruise 4 fun Posted May 28, 2008 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2008 Having had a nationally ranked swimmer for many years, as high as #1, and always swimming on vacation, I would love to offer a bit of advice. Take a vacation! A few years removed now, all he would have liked to do is take a vacation and not feel guilty. Yeah, it'll take a week or two to get back into shape, but sleeping in, playing and being a family for a week will far exceed the accomplishments he/she might gain from swimming during your vacation. Have fun!
