FOS - Pools salt water or not?

Can anyone that has been on FOS tell me i the pools are salt water or not. Thank you.

The pools on the Freedom are not salt water, they are fresh water. In fact, all of the Freedom class ships have fresh water pools, unlike the rest in the fleet (I think there might be one odd ship that has fresh water, maybe enchantment as well).

 

But, no salt water, they are fresh water.

I am also very glad to hear about the fresh water pools on the FOS. We sailed on the Princess Coral Dec. 07 and really enjoyed the fresh water pools. The JOS and NOS had salt water pools when we were on them. Maybe RCCL will change all of the pools to fresh water, would be a great improvement, at least to us.:D

After reading the diapers in the pool posts I either go to the solarium

or stay out of the water.

I can confirm that one of the pools on Enchantment has fresh water. (yay!!!) Unfortunately, we did not discover this until the final day of the cruise. It was sooooooooooooooo refreshing to have the one pool free of salt...and my skin appreciated it too. I wish they would just make all the pools fleet wide fresh water. I would be in pool a lot more.

I didn't like the pools on Freedom - way too cold. yes it is fresh water, but it is not heated. the salt water pools on other RCL ships were much warmer.

Does the RCL Radiance of the seas have a saltwater pool? If so which pool?

I thought all the pools on Radiance were salt water.
