I guess there's some chance of it completing the trip across the Yucatan and emerging on the other side as a tropical storm but I wouldn't put money on it... THE CENTER PASSED NEAR TEGUCIGALPA A FEW HOURS AGO WITH ONLY LIGHT WINDS REPORTED. THE INITIAL INTENSITY IS ESTIMATED TO BE 25 KT...WITH THESE WINDS LIKELY OCCURRING ONLY IN BANDS OF SQUALLS. THE INITIAL MOTION IS NOW 345/10. The remains of Alma are continuing to move North - Northwest at about 10 mph. The only threat is rainfall.
