docmsf Posted May 30, 2008 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2008 Thinking of our upcoming 6/25 Alaska getaway. We have read all the packing/clothing consideration responses on these boards. Of course we are all geared up and ready to LAYER! It seems from a few of the posts I have read from passengers already experiencing trips this season that it seems extremely warm? We are from Texas and looking forward to some cooler weather. Wishful thinking that we may have some cool days and get to use some of our fleece, etc. Just getting anxious and ready to be on board! mylife Posted May 31, 2008 #2 Share Posted May 31, 2008 Met a woman today whose been to Alaska three times, and she said to definately not to underestimate that you may have warm days, so be sure to pack a few pairs of shorts and short-sleeved t-shirts as you never know what the weather will be like. Hope you're lucky enough to bring out the shorts!:)
gillianrose Posted June 1, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 1, 2008 Yes, it's true. Alaska can be very warm, and it's fun when it is. It is not the norm, though. Nevertheless, don't forget to pack your swimsuit. :)
