kaylin Posted June 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2008 Hi, We're leaving in a few days for our cruise and we'd like to go to Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius, and possibly Sorrento if time allows. Could anyone tell me how we'd go about doing this on our own. I've read about people going to Mt Vesuvius from Herculaneum but not from Pompeii. Any advice will help me greatly. Thanks. Kay There is a train connection Sorrento/Naples and vv, with a station at the Pompeii site entrance. Walk down the hill about 5 minutes, there is a bus connection to Mt. Vesuvius.
