Shirley C Posted June 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2008 Any recommendations for Hotels close to the cruise terminal?
hylasgirl Posted June 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2008 We have cruised out of there several times and we love the Sheraton Yankee Clipper (not the Trader...althought that one is nice too) and we also really liked the Marriott Renaissance. That one is really close too. It is a very easy place to get from the airport to the hotel... hotel to the cruise port... and from the cruise port back to the airport. It is one of my favorite cities to cruise from for that reason.:)

We like staying at the Sheraton -- do recall how far it is from the airport and to the cruise terminal?
hylasgirl Posted June 2, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 2, 2008 Thanks for the quick reply and the info. We like staying at the Sheraton -- do recall how far it is from the airport and to the cruise terminal? Oh, man... a couple miles if that. Pull up "Google Earth" and you can see how they are all related. It is an awesome way to see how everything is situated. The Sheraton is about the only place that is actually ON the beach too... It definitely is one of the closest to the port, but if you get there early the day before, there is still plenty to do right there around the hotel... which I think is great. Thanks so much for the info -- sounds like the Sheraton would be a great choice.
