Sheraton NY to Red Hook

I booked a week pre-cruise at this hotel (811 7th @53rd) because (a) used points ;) and (b) it's used by Princess so I was hoping to get on their shuttle to the ship. However, they told me I have to wait to see if there's room as they reserve the shuttle for those who booked the hotel thru them (makes perfect sense!) so I want to make sure I have other reasonable options to get to the port on sailing day...looking for assistance???:rolleyes:

1.take a cab around $30-35(per can not per person). Make sure you have directions with you(down the west side to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel Take the Hamilton Avfnue exit just past the tolls make two quick lefts and follow the signs to the Brooklyn Red Hook Cruise terminal)

2. Use a car service with the above amounts as a guide. If the car service asks for more than $50 they are over charging...
