C cruzer Posted June 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2008 Ok, I have cruised several times. I usually get T-shaped balcony cabin at the side-end of the ship. And thought it was great! But on my next sailing, I have the aft balcony and need to know!!! Do you all truly like the Aft cabins? Is it bigger? Are the balconies bigger? And I have always liked the view from the back of the ship, but is it OK the whole cruise? THANKS:)
ruskatab Posted June 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2008 Get the aft wrap. That way you get a bigger room and you get some aft with a huge balcony.
PhotoPete Posted June 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2008 We had an aft on the Ledgend. We were next to a wrap. The balcony is a good four times larger and the cabin is beautiful. We went in it the last day after the occupants had left. Only issue I had with an aft was the soot.....
papanh Posted June 3, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 3, 2008 We did aft on the Legend and the Freedom and are doing the Miracle next year. Love the aft cabins and never had a problem with soot, they are also deeper than a side balcony. pics below Papanh
TCU Frog Posted June 3, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 3, 2008 What is a aft cabin? I have booked a cabin on the back of the pride for a December cruise. They said that it was an extended balcony. Is this considered an aft cabin? I noticed this posting and I wondered if any of you knew anything about these balcony rooms?
