luvtcrz Posted June 8, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2008 Because I don't know Seattle very well. My husband and I are unsure of where to reserve a hotel for the night before our August cruise. Any great ideas?

tam-tam Posted June 9, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2008 I've stayed at the Waterfront Marriott (on Alaskan), and it's very nice. It's closer to Pier 66 (used by other cruise lines), but not too far from Terminal 30 (.2 miles). Also nearby Terminal 30 are: The Edgewater (I've never stayed here) Hotel 1000 (very nice, less than a mile away) Ace Hotel (I've never stayed here) Inn at El Gaucho (have heard this is a nice place) The Westin Seattle (fairly nice) Hotels.com has a feature where you can search for hotels near a landmark if none of these work for you. Enjoy!
wrp96 Posted June 9, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2008 The only hotel close to Terminal 30 is the Silver Cloud Inn near SAFECO Field. We stayed at the Marriott Waterfront before our cruise out of Terminal 30. It was a short ride to the pier AND we had a great view of our ship sailing into Terminal 30 early in the morning. Charlee1 Posted June 9, 2008 #6 Share Posted June 9, 2008 We are staying at the Embassy Suites in Bellevue. It is supposed to only be 15 minutes from the pier. My cousin is driving in and they can leave their car there for free. Prices aren't too bad either. Includes breakfast and cocktail hour.
2perky Posted June 9, 2008 #7 Share Posted June 9, 2008 We are leaving Friday for the same cruise. We are staying at the Inn at Harbor Steps it is less than 2 miles from terminal 30. Good luck!
