hotel on Vieques needed

Has anyone stayed at a decent hotel in Vieques? We want to do the bio bay boat tour since we have to spend the night anyway before the cruise. Any suggestions? We can't do the kayak thing.

Going to Vieques for one night only is hardly worth it. The trip there and back,via ferry or plane, renting a car on the main island, then on Vieques...... lots of wasted time and plenty of money.

 

I suggest you look into the Vieques BioBay trip from Fajardo. It is done by East Island and it is great. A fast boat trip over/back, dinner, drinks on the boat, the BioBay tour. Leaves from Fajardo at about 5:30p and you are back to Fajardo by 10:30p that same night.

I really liked it and it took a lot of hassle out of getting over there.

We won't get into San Juan until around 6:55 p.m. so I guess the Bio Bay is out! It seems a shame to go all that way and not see it. We only found two nights that were good nights to view it. Fourth and fifth of July are good nights, but we could not get a decent price on air fare on the 4th of July! So only one day precruise (5th) and one day post cruise (14th)! I was really looking forward to doing the Bio Bay tour.
