I love all the Carnival ships but I have to say, cruising the Inspiration out of Tampa is my favorite. Embarkation is easy, and the ship is fun. I know it's an older ship but she is well cared for and the crew/staff is great.

Any ship I can be on is my favorite at that moment. I love the Inspiration because it fits into my schedule so well. The Spirit is the nicest ship I have been on. The Sensation was the best cruise because it went out of Tampa (love that port) and went to Grand Caymen, Cozumel and New Orleans. I wish they would bring back that itinerary. Welcome to the boards, it is fun talking to others that have the same addiction (cruising) as the rest of us.

Brings up a very good point to consider. Do we have our favourite ship due to the ship itself, the ports of call, or both? I know the answer is "both", but our decision is probably heavily affected by the home port, and the ports of call.

My all time favorite cruises were the one to Hawaii on NCL and my first cruise on Carnival to Alaska.

Without a doubt, Spirit out of San Diego. Best class of ship, best departure port, best crew........best of everything

My favorite ship is the Celebrity Zenith because it is not so huge. I like it smaller and more intimate.

I really love the ease of navigating the Spirit class ships. The Legend is probably my favorite.

Probably the Miracle. We also enjoy the Fantasy class very much too. In another six months it may be the Splendor, lol. We did not care much for the Conquest class with the Glory though. Begging Carnival to put a seven day sailing out of NOLA with a Spirit class ship.:D

Thanks everyone for your responses. I want to book another cruise soon and was curious which ship to book. It seems like everyone has their favorites. :D
