Embassy Suites Hotel Tampa-Airport/Westshore

Would This Be A Good Hotel For The Day Before Cruise Or Could Somedody Recommend Another Hotel.

Have you looked at the Embassy Suites Downtown Convention Center? New hotel, great service, and very near the port and Channelside.

 

I have also stayed at the Sheraton Riverwalk area. I won it on Priceline by bidding on a 3 star in the downtown area. It was very nice as well. Not as new as Embassy, but great for a one night stay. (cheaper too)

We needed four rooms for 14 people and looked all over Tampa for a hotel. The Embassy convention center was nice, but pricey and booked up (we were looking at July). We ended up booking at the Embassy Westshore- they could accomodate all of us and was reasonably priced. We also liked the free shuttle from the airport, free breakfast, and nightly manager's reception, free speaks to my DH!;) Anyone else staying there prior to cruising the Legend on July 20?
