Any comments on this hotel? Do they offer a shuttle to the port? I assume there is a fee so does anyone know if it would be better to take a cab?

It's a typical industrial airport area. Call them and ask ab out the shuttle.

I just booked a room with them. They are #2 out of 98 Miami hotels. They have free shuttle from MIA and a free continental breakfast, however they do not have free shuttle to the port. It is $10 and they use Miami Sunshine.

I was looking at this hotel as well. I am wondering about the airport noise. All we need is a place to sleep for one night and would rather not spend lots of money (save it for the ship!). I saw the #2 ranking also. ANyone stayed here??

There should not be any airport noise, it is quite a ways from the actual airport. It is not a tourist area at all. The closest restaurant would probably be a Mc. Donalds off 57th. Avenue and 7th street, or a Burger King one or two blocks away. (On 7th. Street) There is also a chicken place, I believe (do not know if it is still open), in the same shopping center where the Burger King is. When I say shopping center, I meant there are several stores such as a supermarket, a Home Depot Luxury division store, etc.
