mgm3430 Posted June 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2008 Our ship will be docking from 7am-4pm and I called Capt. Marvin's and we can either take a tour that starts at 8a.m. or 9a.m. We really want the 8a.m. time, but there will be 4 ships in port that day and I wanted to know can we get a tender and check in by 8a.m.? Has anyone did this before and what was your experience? I need advice soon because we're going Dec. 8th and Nativeways is already booked up for the tour we wanted. Thanks!!! Lamar Cheeks Posted June 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 13, 2008 Once you get to the dock, Captain Marvin's is a one-minute walk. The question is, will your ship have tenders leaving by 7:30 a.m. They probably will, and you should be set. Captain Marvin's will also wait for you, in all likelihood, if you are a couple of minutes late. We have had great dealings with them. What ship are you on? azkcruizers Posted June 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2008 You may want to line up early for a tender. Sometimes ships give priority tendering to people who have booked tours through the cruise before those who have booked independently.
mgm3430 Posted June 18, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted June 18, 2008 We're going to go with the tour that starts at 9a.m. We're still going to try to get an early tender, but in case we don't we'll make it by 9a.m. I hate to be rushed especially on vacation.
